Has anyone had this issue and what did you do to solve it?Īny help or directions to other solved solutions are greatly appreciated!ĮDIT: It paired one time and I don't know how I did it. I saw an older post about the gasia clones having issues and a github link to a qtsixa/sixad fix but I'm not sure if that's relevant anymore since setup asks you which PS3 controller it is (normal, gasia, gasia clone, or shawna).

I've done all the sudo apt-get update/upgrade and installed bluetooth bluez and blueman but it's still not letting me pair.

Then I disconnect the USB and push the center PS button to pair but it doesn't. This screen is what it gives me so I connect the PS3 controller through USB and the LED will be lit on '1'.

It downloads the packages it needs and it finishes. Going into setup and selecting install/pair Ps3 controller. Sudo /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/retropie_setup.sh It recognizes the PS3 controller and accepts inputs from the buttons. Hcitools scan also picks up the controllers MAC address so I know the controller is at least trying to pair. I'm trying to get my retropie to pair with my off-brand PS3 controller (gasia clone I think) but for the life of me I can not get it to work.
